I am an experienced educator with more than 20 years of experience in international higher education administration and secondary school teaching. Originally from Connecticut I have lived the last 14 years in Northampton, MA where I worked at Hampshire College as Director of Global Education. I have a Master’s in International Education at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT, a Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Fairfield University, and a B.A. in French with a minor in music from Dickinson College. I have a wide range of professional experience both within higher education administration and secondary school teaching. Prior to working at Hampshire, I was a French/Spanish language teacher having last worked at the American School of Milan in Milan, Italy. At Hampshire, I worked both in education abroad and international student services in managing and advising semester and short-term faculty led programs and advising international students and scholars. I am a linguaphile at heart, speaking French, Spanish and Italian, and I love to live and travel internationally, immersing myself in and engaging with other cultures. During my free time I love doing a variety of activities including singing, cooking/baking, gardening, hiking, yoga, and anything near the water. I love musical theater and look forward to the day when I can see live theater again! Living in Spain and working at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain is the perfect blend of my professional and personal interests. I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity!
The pictures below are of me doing some of my favorite activities with my niece and nephew Henry and Caroline and their dog, Tilly.
